I was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Since I was a young child, I have always wanted to be a teacher. That led me to the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where I have my degree in History and Secondary Education (and also where I met my wonderful husband, Will). I taught a few years before my husband and I started our family. I took a break from teaching to be home with our kids and that is when I really fell in love with photography.

My goal as your photographer is to have a fun, easy-going time capturing you and your loved ones. With photos, I can “press pause” on a moment in time. I can capture a silly look, an unexpected laugh, or a whispered “I love you”.
